Writing cannot happen without a writer. That we can be sure of. Much of the rest of what ends up on pages and in books and on stage and TV and film has motion as an essential ingredient. Somewhere, someone has to step on the gas. So May 1, let’s put the pedal to the metal so to speak. Let’s find where the energy lives in each of us, our own unique formula that brings visions and sounds, smells and tastes (for some of us!) out into the open to be shared. Let’s have some fun together and write about it.

Bring your favorite tearjerker with you, whatever form it comes in. And bring tissues.
